- 40 minutes north of Alicante there is a verdant sunny coast that offers everything from luxurious 3-star Michelin restaurants, Spain’s best beach, paddling, cycling paradise, climbing mecca, canyoning (= insanely fun water adventure with wetsuit, helmet and harness where you repel yourself down waterfalls, natural pools and walks in gorges), flamenco dancing, SPA and Spanish tapas, as well as fabulous mountain walks to the volcano-like mountain Puig Campana from where you can see Ibiza.
- We have been taking business groups here for 15 years and it is safe to know that there are 330 sunny days a year here!
- There are direct flights here from Gothenburg and Arlanda and there is a plethora of beachside hotels in famous Calpe or relaxing SPA resorts in the middle of the mountains in the cultural hub Guadalest. Our trips have net zero emissions and are certified climate-compensated according to the Gold Standard.
- We have established very good local contacts with everything from guides to transport companies and flamenco dancers. Everything to ensure a perfect delivery!
Program proposal:
Day 1
- You arrive at Alicante airport from Stockholm Arlanda at 12.30 (departure at 07.00 from Arlanda). A bus takes you to the coastal resort of Denia, 60 minutes north of Alicante. On the plane and the buses, you have been divided into groups where you get a series of clever and creative team exercises to solve.
- Overlooking the Mediterranean Sea, we enjoy a classic Spanish tapas lunch at La Mena, founded in 1959 by D. Diego Mena Llorca and María Cuesta.
- We take a ferry along the dramatic coast back to the hotel at beautiful Calpe.
- Your guide Fredrik Sträng gives an exciting and inspirational lecture. He is the Närkes guy who was bullied, notoriously afraid of heights and who went to therapy for his fear of death to become Sweden’s foremost high-altitude climber with, among other things, 7 peaks above 8000 m and a Guinness World Record. After life and death climbs, and Mount Everest being one of the mountains he climbed, he knows that his attitude determines whether we succeeds or fails, whether we survives or not.
- We eat at the popular Bruno Ruiz, which combines tradition with innovation. The chef prepares the dishes in front of the guests and explains the process.
Day 2
We go up with the rooster and head by bus to the foot of the volcano-like mountain Puig Campana (1406 m above sea level). The goal is to climb the top and raise your company flag at the top to the view of the Mediterranean where we can see Ibiza in the distance. If desired, climbing to the top can be divided into easy, medium, and strenuous routes, so that everyone can reach the top!
After reaching the top and coming down, we hang out at the beach, take a swim, and relax. Life is a party and a bliss!
Day 3
- Free activities are offered in the morning: You can choose between canyoning, e-bike, climbing or paddling with breathtaking views.
- In the afternoon you have your own conference.
- During the evening, you have a joint cooking activity to the accompaniment of music and flamenco dancing. For those who want it, an intensive course in flamenco dance is also offered.
Day 4
- Early in the morning we have a joint teacher-led Yoga lesson on the beach.
- At breakfast, your CEO and the organizers summarize the life affirming days into an inspiring short film about the trip.
- Time to go home after three intense, memorable, and team-building days. You are asked to select your 3 best photos from the trip and send them to the organizers who will be selected for a photo book that the participants will receive.
