International Forest Day, also known as the International Day of Forests, is celebrated annually on March 21st. It was established by the United Nations General Assembly in 2012 to raise awareness about the importance of all types of forests and trees outside forests.
The day aims to promote the importance of forests in supporting sustainable development and mitigating climate change, as well as to highlight the various environmental, social, and economic benefits that forests provide. Each year, the day is marked by various events and activities organized by governments, organizations, and individuals worldwide to promote forest conservation and sustainable management.
So plant a tree!
Sincerely
